I am what I am

Here's a short introduction of myself...
I am a musician, a chemist, food safety officer, a son, a brother, a friend, an enemy, a lover, a hater, and most of all I am what I am...
Here are things you should know about me...


I am a musician
By definition a musician is one who composes, conducts, or performs music, especially instrumental music.
I might not fit on the first word (composes) but I can certainly do the rest...


Musical influences:
I grew up in a Christian family (conservative ones), and I think my family background also contributed to my inclination to music. I first started as a Choir member in our church (this helped me understand the notes and my voice) then was later on introduced to notes and sheet musics by my two aunts who have studied music in a seminary. Then I attended vocational guitar lessons and this is where my passion for music really began... 


Another influence, I believe, is my love for "The Corr's" music, when I was only 12 I heard them play "Dreams" and that's were my dream of playing the tin whistle (an Irish flute-like instrument similar to the recorder), unfortunately there are no music shops in the Philippines that sells the same. So I couldn't do anything but just admire their music. When I came here in Dubai, an Irish friend gave me my first ever Tin Whistle and that's where I started playing almost all intrumental stuff of "the Corr's"

I am chemist & a food safety officer:


I graduated at Technological University of the Philippines - Visayas on August 2007 as BSET major in Chemistry. I considered Chemistry as well as Physics when I was still in highschool, I don't like those subjects... 
you might ask "Why BS. Chem then?" It was not actually my choice but my option... We are less fortunate (mahirap lng hehehe) and got financial issues to afford sending me to study either Nursing or Law... Since TUP-V was not that expensive, I decided to follow the footsteps of my uncle who was also a Chemist...and by God's grace, I graduated without any red marks on my grades...hehehe


A food safety officer on the other hand is a someone who looks after the food safety of the food served to certain customers... They deal with municipality issues and often answer to all complains with regards to food safety... They ensure that all food safety policies and other measures to eliminate or reduce risk (hazards) to an acceptable level are strictly followed... I am a food safety officer..My current work is far from the scope of what I've learned as a chemist but trainings as well as the experiences given to me by different organizations really helped a lot... 


I am son & a brother:


I am the eldest among 5 and I grew up with my loving parents care and motivation. Together, my parents worked hard for me to achieve my dreams... I have four siblings and all of them are also musically inclined

I am a friend & an enemy:


I can be your best friend but rest assured you'll regret befriending me once you intentionally step on my line...
I don't choose my friends because I know for a fact that friends do come and go (based on my experiences). I pity those who set "standards" in friendship because friendship is a matter of acceptance between two different people.

I am a lover & a hater:


I seem to have this belief that love comes with hate. if you try to trash my love down I'd generally hate you.
When I love, I love with all my heart unconditionally but when I hate, I hate with all of what's left of me.
My experience on this field has taught me a lot, to always use your mind before unleashing your heart.
They say "Love is blind." I say, "Love is never blind, it sees but it doesn't mind."


People try to pull me down but I just smile because people only pull those who are on top...(crab mentality) 


You may love or hate me for my attitude (of course I can never please everybody) you have all the right to do that...This is the real me, I don't bend nor amend my attitude just to fit in somebody else's standards. I am what I am...Iamjasher
